We love various forms electronic products. In the information world today, everyone wants to enjoy the new inventions and save time. Everyone wants to be updated with happenings all round. With such a demand in market, the companies all across the world are coming with innovative solutions to cater the needs of people. There is a huge competition to introduce functionally effective products every day. For an example the cell phone industry, amending every day. SO many options, functionalities, people are buying the latest versions and interested for the coming up models of phones. Every individual wants the fastest and efficient devices. In such light the market for fresh and novice products is increasing but what about the previous electronics equipment’s. Even the reuse of such electronics is not preferred. Due to such a psychological shift new electronics are introduced and old ones are simply left at homes adding on to electronics waste. A proper solution to such wastes is the need of the day.
As a solution to electronics waste different International schools have tried various innovative attempts to solve the waste problem. Here are some of the most creative and innovative solutions to such a problem:
- 3D printer making:
As a solution to electronics waste, students of United Nations school collected the waste and made a 3D printer out of the parts of electronics. They were made to work on this topic as a PYP project. The 5th graders actually could make 3D printers from the old printers.
- Cell phone making:
A school in Norway made students to collect the electronics waste from all school students’ homes. From the old cell phone parts they separated the parts which can be reused for new cell phone manufacturing and made it available to the cell phone industries.
- Industry raw materials:
Going ahead from cell phones, rest of the waste equipment’s were recycled and were analyzed to whom it can be useful. Accordingly students went to different companies and provided them the required components. Various companies and parents were also involved in the recycling process. Such a recycling is really innovative solution to the waste increasing in alarming rate.
- Art work:
Well the oldest waste cannot be used in any of the fields today. They are the outdated electronics of about a decade before. Kids make art forms and decorative articles of it.
